Job Description

Summary:

Conduct incoming material inspection according to IQC Critical Parts List for MCC business.

Your Responsibilities:

• Complete daily incoming material inspection and evaluate the acceptability based on IQC procedure, working instructions and prints (Drawing, BOM, workmanship, specification). The material include: components, assemblies, PCBA, etc.
• Identify quality status of material and record the inspection results.
• Initiate a MRB process for non-conforming material and trace the MRB result；
• Report daily inspection summary to relevant responsibilities.
• Purge the material in warehouse.
• Work closely with Supplier Quality Engineering, Process Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production to handle incoming material issue.
• Assist the tasks of quality improvement.
• Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Main COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

Job related competencies

Functional

• Be familiar with print reading and GD&T technique.
• Have ISO 9001 and / or 14000 knowledge.
• Have strong quality awareness and sense of responsibility.
• Have strong decision making ability. 。
• Be familiar with Microsoft office packages (ie. Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common application software (ie. Lotus notes).

Interpersonal

Good communication skill and teamwork spirit.

Business

Ensures thorough familiarity with policies and procedures related to standards of business conduct, and trains and motivates subordinates in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of such policies and procedures.

 Leadership

Conducts tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations (state/federal laws, ISO9001, ISO14000, etc.) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.

The Essentials – You Will Have:

• Technical or college education with relevant major desired.
• 2-3 years in Mechanical Inspection in a Manufacturing environment preferred
• Knows and understands electronic (or electromechanical) manufacturing processes
• Be familiar with plastic, metal, electronic components and inspection criteria
• You will be based in ESR Industrial Park, Oragadum, Chennai. You must have Valid Passport.
