Job Description

We are hiring an Assembler Level 3 on 1st shift.

  • Hours – 7:00am-3:30pm
  • Starting Pay – $19.27/hour

Job Summary:

  • Performs a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations.
  • Follows standard sequence of operations while conducting daily tasks including hand soldering, wiring, and component installation on assembly units.
  • May perform rework and quality testing.
  • Work typically includes interaction with development and manufacturing engineering personnel.
  • Uses electronic documented work instructions to follow an established sequence of assembly tasks.
  • This position is held to the highest standards in safety, ethics, quality, deliver, and productivity.
  • Overtime is occasionally required to meet production goals.

Skills:

  • Hand soldering of electronics and printed circuit boards.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Read, follow, and execute standardized assembly tasks using electronic work instructions.
  • Assemble components and sub-assemblies according to defined processes and timeframes.
  • Use tools including hand soldering tools, PCBA component preparation equipment, wire strippers and luggers, torque drivers, and lifting fixtures.
  • Self-directed in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated understanding and logical approach to analyses and problem-solving techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of High School Diploma/GED OR 1 year of verified related experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous hand soldering experience, or the willingness to learn this skill.
