Job Description

To support our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Professional Services Engagement Manager to ensure successful deployments of Rockwell Automation's Plex ERP, MES and QMS solutions in the manufacturing industry.

As an Engagement Manager, you will be the project owner and will lead deployments of cloud-based software solutions, and address issues in creative and effective ways to provide a successful implementation outcome through Go Live.

You will report to the Principal Engagement Manager – Plex.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects of varying size and complexity
  • Champion Plex's implementation methodology and lead it through each project
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to Professional Services project team resources and ensure quality of services delivery during the project
  • Lead the Plex and customer project team to identify / resolve all risks that could affect project scope, schedule, or budget
  • Responsible for revenue forecasting and attainment for assigned projects
  • Lead Customer Steering Committee meetings, Milestone Events, and internal Portfolio Reviews for assigned projects
  • Partner with the PMO to improve our tools and processes
  • Ensure that projects are staffed and planned in collaboration with resource management
  • Ensure that assigned projects are delivered within budget, time, and to the SOW. Manage the project change process to ensure out of scope activities are identified and approved.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Plex Manufacturing Cloud Core Modules and maintain current knowledge of product releases
  • Identify opportunities to position additional Professional Service offerings within a project or at project close. Support new logo sales activities by positioning Plex Professional Services properly.
  • Build relationships outside of Plex Professional Services in our Product, Sales and Support teams

The Essentials – You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to customer locations
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

  • Typically requires 5+ years of relevant software implementation project experience
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment in an Operations, Supply Chain or Engineering leadership role
  • Experience presenting to all levels, including shop floor operators and C-Suite executives
  • Experience being the escalation point for customers
  • PMP certification
  • APICS certification

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.
