Job Description

Oversees development, planning, and implementation of environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures, contribute to maintain site ISO14001 & ISO 45001 certification and attain organizational performance goals. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, know and apply Mexican regulations and assure compliance with corporate requirements. Develops and oversees company programs for employees such as compliance training, inspections, hazardous material handling, emergency response, industrial hygiene, waste disposal and monitoring, life safety, develop risk assessment, ergonomic evaluations, contractors, among others. Create a strong EHS culture throughout the site organization, work with site leadership team and facilities to ensure that all key EHS operational controls are in place and ensure appropriate corrective action is taken where health and safety hazards exist.

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering

• Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience in similar position.

• Demonstrated success in leading, planning, development, and implementation of EHS management systems and compliance programs.

• Experience with NOM´s, ISO14001 & 1SO45001, and Mexico Environmental regulations

• Ability to interact effectively with all levels in an organization, while establishing and maintaining a strong EHS presence.

• Fluent English /Spanish

• Manufacturing Environment Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISO14001 EMS Certification

• ISO45001 OHSMS Certification

• “Industria limpia” and “Autogestion – STPS”

• Ergonomics education
