Job Description

Rockwell Automation is looking for an experienced and driven Regional Credit Manager Americas to join our team.

Reporting to the Global Director Credit & Collection, you will have responsibility for the collection and risk assessment of the customers located both in North America and in Latin America and you will lead a team of Credit Collection professionals across different time zones.

You will meaningfully contribute within the Order to Cash team and the broader Finance organization to provide real-time support and analytics and will encompass different tasks.

Specific Responsibilities and Deliverables Include:

  • Achieve financial performance metrics
  • Enforce credit and collections policy that mitigates company risk and exposure
  • Perform in-depth analysis of customer financial statements and approve credit requests
  • Develop, report regular updates to senior management of Indicators, analysis, and trends
  • Be responsible for cash forecasting, DSO, Aging profiles, and trend analysis
  • Manage deliverables to internal and external audits that are complete and accurate
  • Manage collections escalations from all partners promptly while upholding and maintaining the interests of the company
  • Support integration of new acquisitions
  • Partner with customer-facing teams, building relationships both internally and with customers
  • Be responsible for resolution of deductions, credits and unapplied payments, and the reconciliation of customers' balances
  • Lead Digital Projects in the region
  • Hire, lead, and mentor talent, enhance performance and ensure succession planning in high impact roles
  • Manage and build a maintain a collection team with an international footprint

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Credit & Collection management experience with customer-facing activities required
  • 5+ years' experience building Credit and Collections teams
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business is required, an MBA, CPA, or professional credit certification
  • SAP experience, Highradius experience
  • Financial statement analysis experience and experience working with legal counsel and credit bureau reporting
  • And an understanding of finance, internal controls, bankruptcy knowledge and A/R and related reserves accounting
  • With additional emphasis on customer contact, with experience working with major accounts and Sr. Executives
  • Advanced Export Credit and Trade Finance Techniques, Export Financing Alternatives
  • Experience leading successful collections teams across geographies and improving our Working Capital
  • Willingness to travel
  • Customer service focus with a continuous improvement orientation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of the organization both in English and Spanish
  • Work through complex situations
