Job Description

We are looking for a professional with great enthusiasm and engagement for a position as a Senior Tax Analyst in the Tax Planning team at Rockwell Automation in Brazil. You will support the departments (sales, engineering, products, projects and others) in tax analyses that assists the structuring of our strategy and important decision-making for the business, to mitigate tax risks and ensure compliance with legislation and ancillary obligations. You will also be in charge of actions related to fiscal and global projects (end to end) that improve the systems that we use, first identifying the needs for improvements and then generating requests for corrections (technical specifications) and updates to the IT team. You will report to the Tax Planning Supervisor of Brazil.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects in the tax area using Agile methodologies, involving new legislation, technical notes NF-e, layout of ancillary obligations SPEDs/REINF, process improvements, automations to ensure the complication of operations and mitigate risks.
  • Responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure of projects, bringing requirements following current legislation and having a great harmony with the Business, external and internal team members to make daily follow up.
  • Monitor of daily Federal, State and Municipal legislation, tax reform, vast knowledge of indirect taxes (ICMS/ICMS-ST/DIFAL/PIS/COFINS/IPI, ancillary obligations PERD/COMP/GIA/SPED/SPED Contributions/REINF and complete block K inventory.
  • Be the main user of tax projects supporting the business strategies
  • Follow up of projects with partners and backlog of calls with IT
  • Keep updated about the ongoing tax legislations for providing accurate consultancy to internal clients (sales, engineering, product, among other areas)

The Essentials – You will Have:

  • Experience with Indirect taxes, ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS and ISS
  • Experience with Withholdings, IRRF, ISS, PIS/COFINS/CSLL, INSS, CIDE
  • Knowledge about Ancillary obligations: SPED Fiscal, EFD Contributions, Block K, REINF
  • Update Layout: NFe, SPEDs e REINF
  • English for spoken/verbal interaction
  • SAP – table parameterization in J1BTAX related to taxes
