Job Description

You will engage in development and maintenance activities of products that include troubleshooting of designs, design for testability, test plan generation, conducting validation/compliance tests, and creation of design/product documentation.

You will engage in these activities to drive performance, functionality, cost optimization, test efficiency, manufacturability and quality in products delivered. You should have a strong capability to communicate and engage in solution investigations. You need to be able to work as a team player.  

Your Responsibilities:

You should have testing experience in one or more of the following areas:  

· Microprocessor/Microcontroller system design with preferably ARM processors  

· Memory system designs  

· Logic Design for FPGA/CPLD/PAL devices  

· Electronic board level design that includes earlier testability plan.  

· Ethernet and USB design, testing, certification  

· Digital electronics power supply circuits  

· Experience in design tools for Schematic Capture and PCB Layout   

· Experience in carry out board level and system level design verification test   

· Experience in EMI noise reduction techniques/countermeasures for PCB layout  

· Experience with testing to EMC/EMI regulatory certifications  

· Experience in Signal Integrity measurements using Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes  

· Experience to carry out product testing for Environmental and Certification Test Standards  

· Experience in managing prototype build from BOM creation to build change requests  

· Candidates with experience in Functional Safety product development with IEC61508 will have an added advantage  

The Essentials – You Will Have:

  • Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related qualification  

  • Min 0 / 3 / 5 years relevant Electronics Product Design

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

· Strong passion in hardware engineering.  Have strong desired for continuous improvement in applying best practice and modern technologies in hardware design and processes.  

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills, and detailed oriented.  

· Be able to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and changes in strategies.  

· Open-minded, a willingness to experiment within acceptable boundaries and a creative mind to bring novel solutions into design and problem-solving.
