Job Description

Position Summary:

Reporting to our Senior Manager, Engineering Data Management you will be responsible for Engineering Data Management (EDM) process design of specifications for data management tools and IT development projects, project management, data quality management and continuous improvement of SAP material master data to support Rockwell Automation global business processes. Work with other team members and teams supported by the EDM team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Enterprise data management of SAP product/material master data.
  • Configure to Order (CTO) material variant creation pro9cess management and execution
  • Global product data synchronization to support product sales and supply chain processes.
  • Data management support for new CTO (KMAT) product offerings and changes to existing product offerings.
  • Data support for supply chain optimization projects.
  • KMAT data automation to support new requirements.
  • Enforce product lifecycle management processes and associated data standards
  • Provide support to the user community related to SAP and Windchill PLM product and material data creation processes.
  • Manage EDM-owned IIQ roles and user access requests.
  • Lead on teams to development new procedures, and tools.

  • Have a working knowledge of global end-to-end business processes, including:
  • Idea to Offering
  • Purchase to Pay
  • Market to Quote
  • Order to Cash
  • Engineer to Order
  • Issue to Resolution
  • Configure to Order
  • Demand to Renew
  • Understand the relationships and dependencies between master data creation and consuming processes.
  • Can identify and address gaps and inefficiencies in processes and data requirements.

Education and Experience:

  • Five years minimum experience working with ERP master data.
  • Four-year degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

The Preferred- You might Also Have:

  • SAP ECC or similar ERP systems
  • Experience with data structures and relationships
  • Workflow design and implementation (ex: PowerApps, Agile Point NX)
  • Data automation tools (ex: Precisely Automate Studio/Win shuttle)
  • SQL query development
  • Data analysis and the ability to correlate data with business process requirements
  • Experience with JavaScript, Python, CSS, PowerShell, and User Interface design.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitLab
  • Experience deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
