Job Description

Rockwell Automation is hiring!

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join us in our Singapore office.

The Senior Financial Analyst is an individual contributor role within the Asia Pacific Finance team, reporting to the Finance Business Partner (SEA, SPR). You will be an important partner to the Global Sales and Marketing (GSM) Regional Director of Southeast Asia, Regional Director of South Pacific and Vice President, Enterprise Software Sales – Asia Pacific.

You will provide comprehensive financial support through the interpretation of results and initiating control to improve financial performance. Participate in monthly performance analysis, quarterly forecast, annual operating plan and strategic reviews. Provide value-added analysis to management and guide communication between US headquarter for ESS and countries in the Asia Pacific region.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide business partnering, decision support and contribution to Leadership around business planning, forecasting and execution to improve performance
  • Implement and maintain financial reporting, forecasting, planning, analysis, closing processes, and budgeting across the Asia Pacific region to inform strategic planning decisions.
  • Provide insights of risks and opportunities based on understanding of business trend and business forecast behaviour.
  • Ensure control environment including reviewing selected balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare management reports and presentation materials for internal meetings.
  • Work with Global Finance Operations to ensure accurate month end closing.
  • Contribute to broad-based problem resolution which includes analysis and studies related to the Business and communicate the findings to the Business & Finance leadership teams.
  • Be a strategic partner, proposing and implementing process improvements to guide value.
  • Use thinking to adapt processes and achieve set goals.
  • Apply financial experience to address complex technical issues by the business.

The Essentials – You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with CPA equivalent
  • 8+ years in financial analysis field with sizable Multi-National Companies.
  • Curiosity of business. Translate numbers into actions that make a difference in results
  • Simplify and present complex concepts and ideas
  • Experience handling multiple partners

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

  • Regional experience
  • Knowledge in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)/SAP
  • Knowledge of project accounting
