Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to lead the standard reporting, analysis, and forecasting for the business/function and provide ad-hoc support. You will use global consolidation financial systems (Oracle EPM Cloude) and SAP to provide performance reporting and insight on a variety of important financial metrics including orders, sales, backlog and other necessary financial matrix. In this position you will also work to automate processes and support simplification and standardization efforts. You will report to the Senior Regional Finance Manager, and this position can be base in Brazil (São Paulo or Jundiaí) or Mexico (Mexico City or Monterrey).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop financial plans using business partner input and applying standard tools and processes to ensure clear explanations for financial performance in a region, function or business, especially in sales and orders.
  • Maintain standard orders, sales and backlog reporting including regional and business unit performance, daily trends, and important variances to forecast and prior period.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting & causals for all key financial metrics for the group.
  • Present and explain financial performance and key variances and changes vs. forecast, plan and prior year.
  • Develop the key drivers of the supported organization's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) by working with other financial teams and business partners.
  • Ensure the predictability of results by guiding standard quarterly forecasts for supported areas as well as future outlooks as needed by Corporate Finance.
  • Support the transfer of workload between FP&A organizations within Rockwell to ensure continuity of business support and allowing use of standard processes.
  • Develop and advocate for automation, simplification, and standardization in reporting
  • Create ad hoc analyses and respond to business inquiries to understand material drivers of financial performance.
  • Align with the other teams in the Global Analytics and Insights organization to guide improved and standardized global processes.
  • Help with team training efforts and help develop co-workers' FP&A skillsets and systems knowledge.

The Essentials – You will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 or more years of experience in FP&A or accounting.
  • Must have a proficient knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Expertise in audit routines and procedures, accounting, financial management, and projects, with a focus on the application of national and international standard
  • Issue resolution approach.
  • Experience with Interpreting financial results and develop key takeaways and insights.
  • Process improvement focus.
  • Flex work schedule as needed and work effectively across time zones, businesses, and tasks to resolve issues.
