Job Description

We are looking for Credit Management Specialist for Sensia business. Sensia is a global company, provides hardware, software, systems and petrotechnical expertise to automate processes and workflows in all segments of the oil & gas industry.

CM Team works together with people all over the world, both internally: with local offices and externally: with the clients.

You will report to the Credit Management Team Leader and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collections and reconciling accounts on monthly basis.
  • Reconcile customer accounts to identify disputes, overpayments, generate journal entries and oversee offsetting of credits and debits. Provide overall customer service to assigned accounts in matters concerning their accounts receivable balance and dispute resolution.
  • Communicate with customer care, product sales departments, branch plants, field sales, and service personnel to resolve customer disputes.
  • Exercise good judgment and decision-making skills involving payment arrangements on disputed items and/or write-offs.
  • Classify past due accounts for monthly reporting to management.
  • Make recommendations to management on accounts or items that are potentially uncollectible.
  • Verify Bad debt reserve file.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with relevant teams across different areas throughout the organization.
  • Maintain accurate information within the system, in compliance with company policies.
  • Support financial audit.
  • Focus on achieving work group's goals and strategies while balancing multiple demands and priorities.
  • Report.

The Essentials – You Will Have:

  • University degree preferred (Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent).
  • Experience in Cash Collection, AR or OtC department.
  • Very good command of English (written & spoken).
  • Working knowledge of Excel.
  • Problem Solving and negotiation skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

  • Experience in a Shared Services and international environment.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
