Rockwell Automation is hiring!
We are looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Consultant (ERP) to join our Sales team in Australia (Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane).
You will provide pre-sales services to both internal and external customers focusing on the implementation of Rockwell's MES solutions like Plex SaaS offerings (https://www.plex.com). The primary focus of the position is to support the Enterprise Sales Team in working with our Customers on their Digital Transformation with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM).
Reporting to the Regional Manager, Enterprise Software Solution Consultants, you will provide pre-sales support (Technical, Operational, and Value oriented) to the Sales team and ensure an organized handover to our delivery organization and by that help bring these engagements to a successful closure.
Your Responsibilities:
- Respond to RFIs and RFQs
- Work with Enterprise Software sales representatives on sales strategies, plans and execution
- Present qualitative and quantitative value of the proposed solutions
- Create custom presentations and documents that state customer business problems and ERP solutions and benefits
- Provide guidance to customers and implementers on ways to deploy proposed products including alternatives and their costs and benefits
- Work with deployment teams (internal or partners) on deployment strategies and proposals
- Prepare technical materials, presentations, and tools to improve sales team effectiveness
- Evaluate products and provide feedback on product features and performance
- Understand and challenge the customer's needs, analyze the gaps and propose solutions.
- Prepare and demonstrate our systems.
- Communicate and sell the value of RA ERP (Plex) solutions focused on the manufacturing Supply Chain.
- Develop and perform technical software demonstrations specific to customer needs and concerns.
- Perform discovery tasks to understand a prospect's business and their main business concerns.
- Assist the sales executive in relationship management, technical sales and sales tool development.
The Essentials – You Will Have:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in operations management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other Business or Technical Field
- 6+ years of experience in solution consulting/technical presales for manufacturing ERP software
- 3+ years of ERP Presales experience with value selling & ability tell a story of success
- Experience with industry specific applications, manufacturing principles and how to apply them.
- 3+ years' experience in Manufacturing environment (Automotive, General Manufacturing, Food and Beverage).
- Knowledge in below manufacturing ERP modules/applications is a must such as:
- Finance & Accounting, Customer & Sales Management
- Knowledge in Manufacturing Operations with core tools is preferable such as:
- MRP, Production Planning & Scheduling, Quality Management Systems, Inventory Control, MES & Industrial Automation
- Up to 50% travel
The Preferred – You Might Also Have:
- Experience background in SAP, Oracle, Infor, Plex, QAD, Epicor Pre-Sales Experience in ERP Manufacturing
- Experience with Enterprise SaaS applications
