What Rockwell Needs from You
We need a diverse workforce to do our best work. We need the makers, the forward thinkers, the problem solvers, and everything in between. That is where you come in. This role will require a student to take a semester off from school to work full time from early summer through December 2025.
What You Will Do
- Analyze electrical circuit designs in our current products
- Test existing products to determine if they comply with RA requirements
- Analyze electrical components and explore how replacements impact RA product designs
- Work with component engineering and sourcing to create resiliency plans for RA products
Skills You Have
- Experience with electrical design and schematic capture
- Familiarity with oscilloscopes and other basic laboratory equipment
- Demonstrated record of technical competence, interpersonal skills, leadership ability and, a strong desire for achievement
- Knowledge of electrical simulation software such as LTSpice
- Knowledge of MATLAB or Python is desirable
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree at an accredited college or university.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical degree at an accredited college or university.
- Minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
- Previous co-op or internship
- Junior or Senior working towards Bachelor’s Degree
- Capable of clear verbal and written communication.
- Experience with writing lab reports
