Job Description

As a Storeroom Attendant at Rockwell Automation's customer on second shift, you will perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. This will be Monday through Friday from 2pm to 10:30pm with the occasional weekend. You will report to the Storeroom Manager and work onsite in Vance, Alabama.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
  • Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift.
  • Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped.
  • Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
  • May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
  • Provide delivery services, as needed

The Essentials – You Will Have:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

  • 1+ year of experience in stocking and/or shipping and receiving
  • SAP experience a plus as well as in cycle counting
  • Experience driving a forklift
