Job Description

Rockwell Automation's EDGE Leadership Development Program is a 2-year program designed to develop future leaders and innovators. As an EDGE Associate, you'll experience diverse 6-month rotations across the US, gaining exposure to the organization, working with leaders, and developing essential skills. The program includes classroom training, mentoring, career planning, networking, and interaction with global engineering teams.

We seek driven engineering graduates for the Business and Commercial Engineering track within the Lifecycle Services (LCS) or Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) business units.

Eligible candidates must start in January or June 2025.

As a Business and Commercial Engineering track associate, you'll contribute to key business initiatives, including commercial content creation, application development, product management, customer engagement, and technical consulting. You'll work with cutting-edge industrial automation technology, gaining hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation's products and seeing their application in various industries.

This track may be for you if:

  • You have a passion for optimizing the use of products and technology in the context of a broader system
  • You have an interest in business and customer-facing roles
  • You consider yourself a natural advisor or consultant when it comes to technical concepts
  • You want to leverage your technical skills to influence new business and solve customer problems
  • You crave new experiences and challenges
  • You embrace the unfamiliar
  • You have future career aspirations to lead a territory and/or manage people and develop others
  • You are geographically flexible and willing to relocate multiple times over a 2-year duration

You will craft a personalized rotation and development plan, in partnership with your manager and technical mentors, to prepare for post-program placement into a vital role on one of our commercial, application, or services teams. You will contribute your expertise, deepen your domain expertise, and further your growth as one of Rockwell Automation's future leaders.

The Essentials – You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
  • Recently graduated
  • Completed a prior internship or co-op experience with Rockwell Automation
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Involvement in community service, extracurricular activities or volunteerism
  • An interest in growing your career to be a Team Lead, Engineering Manager or senior commercial/business leadership roles
