Job Description

Summary:

Reporting to our Production Control Manager, you will develop and implement production control responsibilities including master scheduling, production planning/coordination, shop scheduling and dispatching, material requirements, planning systems, work-in-process tracking, material and labor variance controls, and manufacturing performance reporting. Approve quantities, schedules and parts lists provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, and receipt and issuance of production material requirements. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Main Responsibilities:

Accomplish all planning goals by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicate job expectations; monitor, appraise job contributions and recommend compensation actions.

Meet planning operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; identify warehouse system improvements.

Meet planning financial standards by providing annual productivity goals; monitor expenditures; identify variances; implement corrective actions.

you will manage the planning department in Dom. Rep. facility and will manage all daily activities associated with the assuring of materials planning.

Work with other fuctionnal areas: purchasing, receiving, shipping, materla handeling, warehouse, incoming inspection, Production, Quality & Eng. To resolve issues and implement.

Coordinate the production planning functions to insure on time delivery to customer schedules.

Lead the planning group to maintain high levels on Customer Service out of all DCs.

Support the group with systems training, problem resolutions.

Assure a Capacity and load balancing thought the plant operation.

Ensure of the team goals to direct reports.

Provide the necessary training and leadership to develop expertice in the functunal area of material planning.

Develop inventory strategies to improve service level to production at the lowest total cost.

Assure the supply the flow of material to comply with the Customer’s requirements.

Investigate and reduce inventory supply issues to ensure responses to internal and external customer's needs.

Provide appropriate reporting to assure the health of the inventory and assess operational effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration or accounting.

Two (2) years of experience in related role.

Two (2) years of management experience.

Bilingual: English/ Spanish.

Project management knowledge.

APICS certified (Preferably).
