Job Description

As the Senior Adobe Analytics Specialist, you will use web analytics to provide data-driven, actionable insights. You will collaborate with teams to gather requirements, develop tracking strategies, implement tags, analyze data, and generate reports to drive informed decision-making and achieve business objectives. Use web analytic tools such as Adobe Analytics, Target, Adobe Launch/Data Collection, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager. You will draw conclusions from complex data sets and communicating test results clearly to executives, managers, and associates. This position will report to the Manager, Marketing Data, Analytics, and Reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Tag Management:

​​Develop and implement tagging strategies using Adobe Analytics to ensure accurate data collection.

Configure and manage Adobe Analytics tags within the Adobe Experience Platform.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyze web traffic, user behavior, and conversion data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure campaign effectiveness.

Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights to optimize digital marketing efforts and improve user engagement.

  • Dashboard Creation and Visualization:

Create customized dashboards and visualizations using Adobe Analytics Workspace or similar tools to present data in a clear and understandable format.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and tailor dashboards to meet specific requirements.

  • Event Tracking:

– Hands on coding to implement and optimize event tracking within Adobe Analytics across all digital platforms. This includes setting up custom events to capture detailed user interactions such as clicks, form submissions, video plays, and social media engagement.

Collaborate with web development teams to define and manage the data layer, ensuring that the necessary data points are captured for accurate event tracking.

Write and maintain custom JavaScript, HTML, and other scripting languages as needed to enhance tracking capabilities, ensuring comprehensive data collection for in-depth analysis.

  • Debugging and Quality Assurance:

Perform regular debugging and quality assurance tests on event-tracking implementations. Use tools such as browser developer consoles, Adobe Debugger, and other web analytics debugging tools to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • A/B Testing and Optimization:

Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate the impact of changes on website performance and user behavior.

Monitor test results, analyze data, and make data-driven recommendations for website optimization and conversion rate improvement.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to understand business objectives and translate them into tracking requirements and analytics solutions.

Work closely with technical teams to troubleshoot tracking issues and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends

​Keep abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to web analytics and digital marketing.

Continuously explore opportunities to enhance analytics capabilities and inspire creativity within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Marketing, or related field.

  • 4+ years of proven experience working with Adobe Analytics.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Analytics implementation, including tagging, variable creation, and report configuration.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.

  • Experience with data visualization tools like Adobe Analytics Workspace, Tableau, or Power BI.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adobe Analytics certification(s).

  • Experience with JavaScript and HTML for tag implementation and customization.

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and tools.

  • Previous experience in e-commerce or digital agency environments.

  • Familiarity with other Adobe Experience Cloud products (e.g., Adobe Target).

  • Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
